Age Impulse in the magazine Télécom Paris

What if walking became the “blood pressure monitor” of our health?

Age Impulse is proud to contribute to the discussion on walking as a biomarker of health, independence, and life expectancy through an article published in the Revue Télécom Paris.

Walking is a valuable source of information about our health. Its speed, regularity, and even its variability can reveal changes in physical function and help better identify certain risks, particularly the risk of falling.

With GaiTwin®, our digital twin solution for gait analysis, more than 3,600 assessments have already been conducted. This experience now allows us to establish robust markers and offer a simple, fast, and accessible solution, while continuing to optimize it with our partners in the field.

Our ambition is to go further by making gait analysis a true tool for preventing the risk of falls and conditions revealed by changes in mobility. Gradually enriched with physiological markers such as VO₂max or ventilatory thresholds, the digital gait twin could enable us to better anticipate risks and tailor prevention programs to individual needs.

Through the development of GaiTwin®, Age Impulse is pursuing a clear vision: to harness data and artificial intelligence to enable more proactive and personalized prevention, and to gradually integrate these solutions into connected health platforms.
